Bathroom Vanity

We were a bit stuck for what to do in the loft bathroom for storage. The ceiling on one side slopes and the door opens against the full height wall, so we couldn’t have any wall cupboards and all the built in low cupboards you can buy off the shelf were either too big or completely not our style.

So I had a bit of a think and resorted to trusty old eBay for a single bedside cabinet. The piece we purchased has a really dark, almost black stain to it which will fit with the monochrome theme we are going with and also not wear too much. It was being sold as ‘requiring restoration’ so I was surprised at the condition of it when it arrived – all Ed has had to do is drill a whole in the top to fit the sink and hole to fit the tap. Here it is as a work in progress.

Sink and tap fitted – just needs a good clean and plumbing in.
